Alex Finberg
Alex is a craftsman, author, and social entrepreneur with a background in mental health advocacy. Specializing in outdoor education and woodcraft, he has over a decade of experience in carving, teaching, and community engagement.
Alex has worked with the NHS, schools, organizations, and businesses to make woodcraft accessible as a wellbeing tool. He is the founder of Woodcrafters and an advocate for sustainable craft, as well as the author of Spoon Carving: From Log to Spoon.
Through Woodcrafters, he is committed to making nature based crafts a widely recognized tool for wellbeing, sustainability, and community connection.

Tim Hutton
Tim has spent 30 years working with the land as an artist, photographer, professional yurt builder, spoon carver, and woodsman.
He trained with John Ryder at the Woodcraft School, qualifying as a Bushcraft and Nature Awareness Instructor in 2008. Tim has completed facilitator training with Natural Change, a Basic Guide Training Course with Way of Nature, and The Art of Mentoring (Rings 1 & 2).
With deep expertise in traditional skills and nature connection, he brings a wealth of experience to Woodcrafters CIC, blending his experience as a facilitator, nature steward and craftsman
